Ex-voto chapelet

Made from antique paper and recycled cardboard, this piece is inspired by ancient ex-voto traditions and by the delicate technique of paperolles once crafted in convents.

This box becomes a poetic little reliquary, designed as an object of contemplation.

Each bead of the necklace has been patiently shaped from narrow ribbons of paper, echoing the refined paperolles of the 18th and 19th centuries.

The soft colours, the aged materials, and the many hours devoted to this unique creation offer a gentle invitation to meditation and quiet reflection.

The box measures 12 × 20 × 3 cm and features a small hook on the back so it can be displayed on a wall.

It can be presented as a tiny personal altar, or offered as a meaningful and symbolic gift.

All my creations are unique and handmade, mainly from recycled paper and cardboard.
